- Tempered Glass: Tempered glass, also known as toughened or thermally treated glass, is a type of safety glass that has undergone special processing to increase its strength compared to regular glass. The thermal treatment process involves heating the glass to a high temperature and then rapidly cooling it. This creates a compression tension on the surface of the glass and a tensile stress inside, making it more resistant to impacts, thermal shocks, and scratches. It is about 5 times more impact-resistant than regular glass. A significant advantage is that in case of breakage, tempered glass shatters into small, blunt fragments, reducing the risk of serious injury. It is used in tables, desks, TV furniture, and more.
- Waterwave Glass: Known also as corrugated glass, this is a type of decorative glass characterized by its unique wavy patterns. The surface of Waterwave glass is shaped using a special technique, creating a three-dimensional texture that reflects light in an interesting way. It is a unique material that adds a distinctive character to any environment in which it is used, as despite its texture, it remains transparent, allowing natural light to pass through.
- Textilene: Textilene is a highly durable material widely used in outdoor furniture and accessories. It consists of polyester fibers coated with PVC (polyvinyl chloride), creating a material that combines durability, weather resistance, and flexible texture. This material allows air to pass through, helping to maintain a cool feeling during use.
- Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture construction, offering several advantages over other materials. It is extremely resistant to wear and tear, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in demanding environments. It retains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity for the furniture. In addition to the properties mentioned above, metal can have other characteristics such as antimicrobial action (copper) or superconductivity (molybdenum).
- Tempered Glass: Initially, use a soft damp cloth and a mild cleaner or just water. Wipe the tempered glass with gentle circular motions. Avoid using excessive pressure or materials that may cause scratches.
- Waterwave Glass: For maintenance, use a mild detergent such as dish soap or plain soap diluted in warm water. Dip a soft cloth or sponge in the solution and gently clean the glass surface. Avoid using strong detergents or ammonia, as they may damage the glass surface.
- Textilene: Textilene is easy to clean with simple soap and water. It does not require special maintenance or care and can remain in good condition with minimal upkeep.
- Metal: For indoor metal furniture, dusting or wiping with a damp cloth at regular intervals is recommended. However, for outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps:
- For longer-lasting protection, apply a protective cream that can be easily purchased from commercial stores.
- If your furniture is processed and painted with the powder-coating method (electrostatic painting), it is very durable and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
- If your metal furniture does not have electrostatic painting, you should be more careful and keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover it with special covers and store it indoors during winter if possible.
- If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine and then apply anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
- The armchairs are delivered assembled, while the table requires assembly.
