Exercise should be an integral part of our daily life. Beyond the natural beauty it offers, it is important for maintaining a healthy daily life. For many, exercise can be a hassle, either due to lack of time or lack of motivation. In this specific guide we will see how we can exercise in the comfort of our home without special equipment so that we can keep in shape without having to leave the house.

As we said, exercise can be done at home or in a gym using various materials and equipment, such as mats (for floor exercises), balls (for various activities), bars (for beam exercises), weights or exercise benches.
Exercise without equipment
A beginner who doesn't know much about exercise can start by doing simple body weight exercises. It is not necessary to invest to start working out. Such exercises are, for example, abdominal and back exercises, push-ups and sit-ups. So by putting the above exercises in your program you will be able to stay in healthy shape with the minimum investment of money and time.
Basic home gym equipment
Depending on the result we want from our exercise, we will choose the appropriate exercises and exercise equipment. Initially, aerobic exercise will help us maximize our endurance and breathing, while it also helps with blood circulation. The simplest forms of this type of exercise are running, cycling and jumping rope. We have a wide range of treadmills and bikes that can be your first step towards a healthier life.
If you want to focus on improving flexibility then you will focus on stretching exercises, yoga or pilates which combines aerobic exercise. On the other hand, if you are more interested in muscle mass and strength, you can start using more specialized gym equipment. Caution, these exercises can become very strenuous for certain parts of the body and it is recommended to consult an expert before starting such exercises. To begin with, a very useful tool for the above categories of exercises is a fitness bench. A bench allows for more variety of muscle exercises. If you wish to incorporate weights into your program, then you can choose a weight bench to get the best results. Finally, it is worth noting the more specialized fitness equipment we have available, such as multi-gym equipment, power towers and single weights.
Choice of space - gym and organization
Choosing the right place to put your gym is important. The first thing you need to do is measure the space where you want to install your gym. If possible, try to avoid installing the gym in an area with high humidity and heat, as these conditions will cause damage to your equipment over time and also make it difficult to perform the exercises. Prefer areas that are sufficiently ventilated. Sweat during exercise raises the humidity of the room and this can create problems in the long run.
However, it is not always necessary to designate a specific space as a gym. If there is little space available in your home, there are many instruments that are collapsible, that is, they do not take up much space, making their storage efficient and easy. All you need is to have a small spot at home free for exercise. As for instruments or small accessories, these can be easily organized in a cupboard or storage area.
